The Wellbeing Framework serves as a guide to help implement wellness practices to improve employee health, increase job satisfaction, boost productivity, and reduce absenteeism and turnover. Prioritising wellbeing helps create a supportive culture, enhancing engagement, performance, and overall organisational success.
To use the Wellbeing Framework, organisations could start with an organisation review and needs assessment to understand current workforce wellbeing, using the framework focus areas to guide the assessment of need and strengths.
From this assessment, they can set goals and create an action plan with wellbeing initiatives, incorporating the framework’s resources and existing workplace policies.
The Framework’s resources can be used on their own and are available under each focus area or searchable by keyword. Most are free Microsoft Word templates that can be downloaded and customised to fit your organisation’s needs, including editing content, adjusting styles, and integrating with existing documents.
The Framework’s four focus areas are supported by six foundational principles, outlined in the Wellbeing Framework document. Additional external resources are also available to help with implementation.
